Zaimki - porównanie - ćwiczenia

Zaimki (ang. pronouns) to słowa, które stosujemy w miejsce rzeczownika. Zaimków używamy, aby uniknąć powtórzenia tego samego rzeczownika w zdaniu; żeby być bardziej zwięzłym. Angielskie zaimki można podzielić na kilka kategorii, w tym zaimki osobowe (personal pronouns), dzierżawcze (possessive pronouns), zwrotne (reflexive pronouns), względne (relative pronouns) i wskazujące (demonstrative pronouns).

Porównanie zaimków

Zaimki osobowe odwołują się do ludzi lub rzeczy i zmieniają swoją formę w zależności od funkcji podmiotu, dopełnienia czy funkcji dzierżawczej:

Zaimki osobowe w funkcji podmiotu:

I (ja), you (ty), he (on), she (ona), it (to), we (my, you (wy), they (oni).

Zaimki osobowe w funkcji dopełnienia:

Me (mnie, mi, mną), you (ciebie, tobą), him (jemu, nim), her (jej, ją, niej), it (je, jego, jemu), us (nam, nas, nami), you (was, wam, wami), them (ich, im, nimi, ich))

Zaimki dzierżawcze określają przynależność:

mine (mój, moja, moje, moi), yours (twój, twoja, twoje, twoi), his (jego), hers (jej), its (jego, jej), ours (nasz, nasza, nasze), yours (wasz, wasza, wasze), theirs (ich).

Zaimki zwrotne odnoszą się do podmiotu zdania i tworzymy je poprzez dodanie -self/-selves do zaimka osobowego. Nadają znaczenie ”się”:

Myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves

Zaimki względne służą do wprowadzenia zdania podrzędnego, które dostarcza więcej informacji o podmiocie:

What (co), which (który, którą, które, którzy), who (kto), where (gdzie), when (kiedy), how (jak)

Zaimki wskazujące:

This (ten, ta, to), that (tamto, tamten), these (ci, te), those (tamci, tamte)
